Find real relief from dental anxiety with our sedation options in our spa-like office.
If going to the dentist makes you anxious or scared, rest assured you’re not alone. Dental fears are very common, and here at Reflection Dentistry, we genuinely enjoy helping individuals overcome their anxiety and truly appreciate their visits.
We want to assure you that we won’t judge the condition of your teeth and gums. Instead, our goal is to help you achieve the smile you’ve always desired! The first thing we will do is to listen and ask:
- What are your fears?
- What are your needs?
- What would you like to see?
To begin, we’ll listen attentively and ask questions to understand your concerns. Subsequently, we’ll collaborate to determine the necessary treatment and find the best ways to support you through your dental visits.

Your Sedation DENTISTRY Options
Making your dental appointment painless and comfortable.
Nitrous Oxide
For your comfort, we offer various sedation options. Firstly, nitrous oxide, administered through a nose hood throughout the entire procedure, elevates mood and evokes an overall sense of well-being. Most importantly, it alleviates anxiety and reduces pain during the procedure. You can drive yourself to and from appointments when using nitrous oxide.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Alternatively, we provide oral medication prior to treatment, combined with nitrous oxide to induce a deeper state of sedation. Although you remain “awake,” your senses are dulled. Consequently, most patients can’t recall the pain, smells, or noises associated with the dental procedure. However, you’ll need a driver for appointments involving oral medication.
IV Sedation
Lastly, IV sedation is available for more complex procedures. Patients who have experienced this method often report feeling as if they slept through the entire procedure. In fact, a treatment lasting several hours may feel like mere minutes when sedated. While typically used for longer procedures or complicated oral surgeries, IV sedation can also be employed for simple fillings or even cleanings. As with oral medication, you’ll need a driver for appointments involving IV sedation
