Are you suffering from any of the following?
If you break a tooth, try to save any pieces that have broken away. Rinse them in warm water, then place them in a clean container. For best results, cover the pieces with milk, water, and a pinch of salt. This can help preserve the tooth until you reach our office.
When a tooth is knocked out, time is critical. Call us as soon as possible. Only hold the tooth by the crown, and avoid touching the root. If you can, gently try to place the tooth back into the gum socket. However, do not use force. If this is not possible, keep the tooth moist in milk or saline solution.
It is extremely rare that you need to be seen the same day for a lost crown or filling. However, you should still schedule an appointment with us.
Fillings: If you find the filling, place it in a clean container and bring it with you.
Crowns: Clean the crown thoroughly. Next, line the inside with toothpaste or dental adhesive. You can attempt to replace it temporarily or keep it safe until your visit.
